Frequently asked questions

You can either enter online through our website or our app, or by submitting a free postal entry. Please see 'How do I enter a raffle by post?' for more information.

Anyone entering a raffle must be aged 18 years or older and must be a UK resident.

By First Class post, send a postcard or letter to Raffolux Ltd, The Maylands Building, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP2 7TG, including your full name, telephone number (including the area code if providing a landline number), your email address and the title of the raffle you wish to enter. This information must be handwritten in order to be valid, and printed in legible English. You will then receive one entry for that raffle. Please note that for a postal entry to a specific raffle to be valid, you must send the postal entry before the raffle ends, and we must receive it within 48 hours of the raffle ending. If you do not make a postal entry in accordance with our Terms and Conditions or we do not receive your postcard or letter, then you will not have an entry made into the specific raffle.

You will receive an email to confirm your postal entry has been received.

Our raffles run for a fixed number of days, and the duration of each raffle is specified on our website and app.

If a raffle has a reserve stated and this reserve has not been reached, then we may extend the raffle duration by up to 14 days. If the reserve has still not been met by the end of the extended period, then Raffolux may choose to close the raffle, and each entrant will have their tickets returned to their wallet.

Unless the prize is listed as collection only, we will either hand-deliver or use Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed® to deliver all our prizes. Should the prize be too large or valuable to send by mail, we will arrange for it to be delivered personally.

You odds depend on how many tickets are up for sale on the particular raffle. Unlike other companies in our industry, we will always clearly state how many tickets in total are available for each raffle. For example, if 100 tickets are available in total and you purchase 20 tickets, you have a 1 in 5 chance of winning the raffle.

You will receive an email or a call congratulating you. We will also notify you through a message on the website and the app as well as announce you as a winner on our social media channels. It is important that you keep your email and telephone details up to date. If we are unable to contact a winner within 21 days of the completion of a raffle, we reserve the right to re-run the draw and pick a new winner.

You can view your live and past tickets in the Member Area on the website and app, as well as your live tickets in the information under each raffle.
Member Area

The winning ticket is selected via a random process, and Raffolux will take all reasonable steps to preserve the random nature of the draw. In the past, we have run the draw by a filmed random ticket selection, and also through the use of a true random number generator available at random.org, created by Dr Mads Haahr of the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin.

Each raffle ticket bought online costs £1, and each of our raffles have a minimum ticket requirement to participate, ranging from 1 to 10 tickets. You can also enter by First Class post for free - please see 'How do I enter a raffle by post?' for more information.

The maximum number of entries permitted varies between each raffle, but on all our not-for-charity raffles, you will not be able to enter more than 20 times. It is important to remember that each ‘entry’ is formed of a set number of tickets, so 1 entry could represent 1 ticket, or 1 entry may represent a bundle of 3, 5, or even 10 tickets, depending on the particular raffle.

We obtain all our prizes from carefully selected providers to ensure that all our prizes are exactly as described in each raffle.

Returns are not available, unless the prize is substantially not as described in the information provided in the raffle details. If you have a concern, please contact us directly.

You will receive the prize that is specified in each raffle. On occasion, and entirely at our own discretion, Raffolux may choose to offer you the cash equivalent of the particular prize.

We use secure, encrypted connections across our website and do not hold your card details on our servers. Our card payment providers are fully PCI and ISO compliant. Raffolux will never see, store or share any of your financial data.

We follow the GDPR and the Data Protection Act when it comes to the storage and use of personal data. Please refer to our privacy policy for more details.

10% of all our proceeds will be donated to the charities you choose to sponsor through our platform. We occasionally host raffles where a greater proportion of the proceeds will be donated to a particular charity.
