At Raffolux, our members get to give back every time they play and we are partnered with many of the UK’s largest charities to make this possible. Each time a player makes a deposit, Raffolux makes a donation both to the charity of their choice and the other charities on the platform. In this new blog series, we will be looking at the impact your donations have had on some of our charity partners.

First up: Hospice UK.

The hospice care sector supports more than 225,000 people with terminal and life-limiting conditions in the UK each year. Hospice UK is the national charity working for those experiencing dying, death and bereavement.

Here is a short video from Hospice UK's ambassador, Martine McCutcheon, thanking Raffolux for the continued partnership and support.



Victoria Linney from Hospice UK explained that at her charity, “we believe that everyone, no matter who they are, where they are or why they are ill, deserves the very best care at the end of their life.” Since Raffolux partnered with Hospice UK, we have donated over £17,000 which has helped them in their efforts to support over 200 Hospices across the UK.

This past year has been tough for hospice staff, as they have been at the forefront of the battle with COVID-19, delivering care for some of the most vulnerable people whilst also easing the burden on the NHS. Victoria added that “donations from Raffolux customers have helped us to support hospices through the COVID-19 crisis. Your support has enabled us to secure emergency funding and PPE for hospice staff.”

So, a huge thank you to all of our players because your donations have been more critical than ever in supporting our partners through these unprecedented times.
