A 32 year-old mum has won a dream prize in a raffle for the price of a cocktail on a night out – and she’s donating it all to her mum.
"When I got the tickets, I swear to god that I said if I win this car, I will give it to my mum"
Jailys Goron from South-West London, who started playing with charity raffle site Raffolux when the first lockdown began last year, has just won the month’s top prize – a Range Rover Velar packed to the brim with Gucci, Apple and Samsung goodies, with a couple of thousand pounds in spending money to boot.
She was given the good news by Raffolux presenter Amy Nickell, and brought her sister and her son down with her to pick everything up.
Collecting her new car and goodies, Jailys said: ‘I’m super, super excited and I feel so lucky… it’s just incredible that it happened to me’.
‘When I got the tickets, I swear to God that I said if I win this car, I will give it to my mum.’
Jailys’ sister Jessica said ‘She’s so generous, I can’t believe it. She has such a big heart’ – with Jailys sweetly replying that ‘there’s no point in winning if you don’t share it with your loved ones’.
Jailys and her sister FaceTimed their mum on the day – and you can see the whole clip here.
